$500,000 and up

Lake Hickory waterfront, homes in northwest Hickory, golf homes at Rock Barn in Conover, and homes on acreage out in the county. This range has fewer listings at any given time, so it pays to have alerts set up before you're ready to move.

Why get alerts from me instead of an app? I set up your search directly in the MLS, so you'll see homes the moment they're listed, with accurate status. You also get someone to call when a listing looks too good to be true. Sometimes it is.

In general, yes. Hickory's median sale price was about $320K for Jun–Aug 2026, and you'll usually get more house and more yard for the money than in Mooresville or Cornelius. The trade-off is a longer drive if you work in Charlotte, about an hour each way.

How long do homes take to sell in Hickory?
The Redfin Data Center reported a median of 62 days on market for Hickory for Jun–Aug 2026. Well-priced, move-in-ready homes still go faster than that, sometimes in a few days.
